Biography

Celia is a new addition to the UBC management team. As Practice Manager she brings supervisory skills stemming back to 1992. She has worked in private practices, large corporations and a community health center: In these varied settings, she has been exposed to a variety of multi-cultural experiences and has drawn on her world travels to engage with patients and clients from these diverse backgrounds.

As a Core member of a Pain Management team, Celia has considerable experience working in and with the multi-disciplinary approach to pain management that UBC embraces.

Education

Celia has a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Western Washington University. Throughout her career she has obtained multiple certificates associated with healthcare, management and regulatory issues.

Her next goal is to get her MGMA certification in Practice Management.

Professional Background

Prior to joining UBC, Celia's professional experience was broad and diverse. It included:

• Managing medical, dental and pharmacy services with a non-profit community health center
• Managing a satellite office for one of the country's largest providers of dental services
• Managing multiple privately owned practices throughout the state: Focuses include-enhancing workflow and process improvements, strategic planning and positive customer service outcomes.
