Biography

Mary has worked in outpatient rehabilitation for the past 20 years. She has extensive training in the area of hand therapy and enjoys working with patients to help them improve their functional independence.

Education

Mary graduated with a bachelors degree in occupational therapy from the College of St. Catherine in Minnesota. She has participated in ongoing clinical education, has been actively involved with student training, and has been a member of many professional organizations throughout her career including the American Occupational Therapy Association (A.O.T.A.) and the Occupational Therapy Association of California (O.T.A.C.). Mary has also been certified as a Test Administrator for Post Offer Pre-Employment Testing in conjunction with Advanced Ergonomics, Inc.

Professional Background

Mary has presented at multiple state conferences for O.T.A.C.. In 1991, she was published in the A.O.T.A. Resource Guide for her article: "Feeding and Dysphagia." Mary also wrote an article in OT Week Magazine in 1991 regarding consistency altered diets.
