Biography

Heather moved to the Seattle area in March of 2008 from Portland, Oregon.  After a 6-month maternity leave, she has returned to her practice as a PT, starting at UBC in September of 2008.

Education

Heather earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2000 and her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2002, both from the University of Kansas in Kansas City, KS.  She also completed coursework to become a certified Biofeedback Therapist in 2006.

Professional Background

Heather has worked as a physical therapist since 2002.  She began her career in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, but soon found her passion working in pain management after moving to Oregon.  She worked for a pain management and work hardening/conditioning program for 4 years in Oregon before moving to the Seattle area in 2008 and beginning at UBC.
